(1) When liquid phase thermal fluid heater system and liquid phase forced circulation throttling and decompression evaporation gas phase system are used in thermal fluid heater, at least two electric circulation pumps and condensate supply pumps shall be installed. When one of the circulating pumps stops running, the total flow rate of the other circulating pumps or supply pumps should be able to meet the requirements of the maximum load operation of the system.

(2) The selection of flow rate and head of circulating pump of thermal fluid heater should ensure that the minimum flow rate of organic heat carrier through thermal fluid heater is not less than the minimum volume flow rate allowed by thermal fluid heater.

(3) Pumps with extended cooling section can be used in systems where the maximum operating temperature of organic heat carrier is lower than its initial distillation point at atmospheric pressure.

(4) For a system whose maximum operating temperature is higher than its initial distillation point at atmospheric pressure, the bearing or shaft seal of the pump shall have an independent cooling device, and an alarm device shall be set up to enable the alarm device to operate when the cooling system of the circulating pump fails.

(5) Systems using gas-phase organic heat carriers should use shielded pumps, electromagnetic coupling pumps and other pumps without shaft seals.
